Gary has been a Realtor in Portland, Oregon for 50+ years. With his M.B.A from Oregon (go Ducks!) in hand, and after stints working for financial management companies and managing local and nationwide real estate firms, he struck out to create his own company and rules: Waldrop and Co., Realtors. He knows the city like the back of his hand, and has specialized in multi-family investments, residential sales, and flipping properties. He began flipping properties long before HGTV and reminisces when contracts could be written on a napkin, one could buy a house with a truck as collateral, and repair addendums did not exist.
He believes in personal service--doing business out from behind the “electronic screen,” offering representation with a handshake and the kind of honor that comes from standing behind a family name. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table when buying or selling in the PDX market. He hopes to retire soon--and spend his remaining days traveling the world on a cruise ship while also keeping up with his 14 grandchildren.
