Making the decision to list your home can be overwhelming. We understand! There will be a long list to accomplish but your efforts will be worth it. Packing up 1 box/day is a great way to jump start your decision to move while taking your competition (aka your neighbor’s home that just listed!) seriously. The most important way your home can stand out in a buyer’s market is to evoke an “I can see myself living here!” feeling from buyers as they walk in. Usually, a buyer knows within a minute or two if this is THE ONE. Imagining themselves huddled around the kitchen island. playing games in the bonus room, and hosting family parties outside is what we need prospective buyers to feel. They are only able to do that if the home is neutralized (by the way we LOVE this paint color by Sherwin Williams this fall) and they are able to envision their own twist and taste on your move-in ready home. Speaking of move in ready…we suggest you fix any problems that may come up in a repair addendum. Did you know you can hire an inspector to alert you to any issues that may pop up?
